Places we have provided Video Presentation to Connect

Video Presentation System For Greater Connection

We are people who have become dependent on visually displayed information. Video presentation of news and entertainment is an important part of the lives of most people in our society. TV’s are everywhere: stores, restaurants, waiting rooms, gas stations.

Pete’s Masters Degree Research Project scientifically examined the attitudes of a worshiping congregation to the introduction of video presentation in their worship experience. Their responses were strongly positive. The worship experience is enhanced with the use of video in public worship. The attention span is increased and the overall worship experience becomes more of an audience connection. The following ideas are only the beginning.

Words of Songs

Words of Songs

By eliminating hymnbooks and printed sheets, congregational singing becomes louder as heads are raised rather than bowed.  Everyone is singing the same verse.

Responsive Readings

The print displayed on a screen provides greater involvement.  There is no need to turn a page or fumble for a bulletin.  Everyone knows the part they are to read.

People retain what they see in writing much longer than information only received by hearing.  Subject points and Scripture can be clearly portrayed for increased attention.

Announcements

Announcements

The congregation can be given information as they wait for the service to begin.  They can also be given direction in a visual manner (all rise; please be seated, etc.).

Pictures

With a computer or video player, the congregation can be given information that illustrates, informs or entertains.  “One picture is worth a thousand words”.

Live Camera Feed

The emotions on the faces of children in the kid’s choir or participants in a baptism can be seen by the entire audience.
